Apollo Australia have been operating as a manufacturer and distributor of Scuba Diving Equipment in Australia since 1988 and have been actively working in the defence area for supply of military amphibious marine tactical equipment for the past 10 years.
Apollo Australia own scubaonline.com.au. The old scubaonline.com.au website was not met anymore Apollo’s requirements. Mr. Tim Bonner the owner of Apollo Australia decided to have the website completely redesigned. The new scubaonline.com.au has to be one of the best dive gear online shop as functionality and as well as position in search engines!
Mr. Tim Bonner has chosen Olala.com.au™ to take this project based on his business relation with us.

Basic technical specification

The “scubaonline.com.au” is an e-commerce website based on content management system easy to be updated and fully customised on Apollo’s needs. It was build on the Zen Cart core.

Specifications (a few of them):

• consumers can browse through products and buy easy and secure
• consumers can search products based on specific criteria such as: code, name, brand, description etc
• consumers can register, change their details and see their orders
• consumers can chose own dealer and delivery details
• consumers are kept informed about new products and products update
• consumers can order package and custom dry suit (scuba)
• dealers can order using “Apollo Easy Ordering System”
• dealers can request quotations
• Apollo Australia stuff have full control over the system but never get into the private details of the Apollo customers / dealers / distributors
• Consumers and dealers take advantage of the Apollo Rewards Point system and Apollo Discount system
• Consumers can use Dealers locator (map / list based)
• Dealers can advertise themselves on this platform

Apollo Easy Ordering system for dealers and distributors
This system was developed by OLALA.com.au special for Apollo Australia and was implemented for the very first time on an e-commerce website on scubaonline.com.au. After about one year it was copied (as concept) by other top warehouse website in the world.
It is running now on a couple of e-commerce platforms owned by Apollo Australia P/L

Apollo Australia Reward Points System
This system was developed by OLALA.com.au special for Apollo Australia and was implemented initially on scubaonline.com.au. Now it is running on two more ecommerce platforms.

Apollo Australia Discount system
This system was developed by OLALA.com.au special for Apollo Australia and was implemented initially on scubaonline.com.au. Now it is running on two more ecommerce platforms.

Status

The ScubaOnline platform is linked with one website and in near future it will be part of the Apollo Australia Web platform.
Tis platform will consist of 7 website working together (database sync) and fully integrated with Face Book, Twitter and YouTube. There will be a small exception, it is about the military area which has and will have higher level of security and less level of integration.
